Healthy Harold!


Year 5 enjoyed out visit to the healthy Harold van. We learnt all about smoking and the effects it has on our bodies.

National Numeracy Day!



Year 5 have had an enjoyable start to National Numeracy Day!

Between our energetic song around having a good maths mindset and working outside for our maths lesson - we are very happy :)

Homework due week 6


Students and parents,

Please find attached the homework due in week 6.

We ask that students complete the Religion component by Tuesday and bring their books in with this finished work as it will be forming the basis for our discussion that day.

Each child is to choose ONE of the beatitudes to focus on. This was done in class today, but if you have not picked one, please do so before completing the scripture think pad.

Read for 15-20 minutes every night.
Practise your timetables.
Agree on a job to help mum/dad at home.  Do this job diligently and willingly.
Play a physical game for at least 10 minutes 3 times a week eg skipping, shooting hoops, ride a bike.

Class/Home Link: Read the Sermon on the Mount- Matthew 5: 3-12. Choose one of the Beatitudes and complete the scripture think pad to demonstrate this. This is due on Tuesday 18/8 as it will be the basis of our class discussion.

Create a dance or fitness routine for 3 minutes to be used as part of class fitness
